General InformationDates: May 22, 23, and 24, 2008 ![]() Photo Gallery Photography by Jeff Sabo Hotel: All participants are encouraged to stay at the DoubleTree Hotel. We have secured a very special rate for the festival of $115/night + tax and fees. Breakfast: Will be served each morning from 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. in the hotel lobby. Dancers can either grab and go or sit down for breakfast. Lunch: Tables will be set up in the lobby areas of the DoubleTree for lunch. Pre-ordered box lunches will be available for pick up at the DoubleTree. A representative from each company should pick up the entire group's order between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.. Lunch will be scheduled from 12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. each day of the festival. Lunch for the Staff and Directors will be provided. Dinner: Each evening dinner will be provided in two seatings; dancers performing that evening will be scheduled at 4:30 p.m. all others will be at 6:00 p.m. Class Schedule: Classes are scheduled 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day at one of three nearby locations; Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, the Dayton Ballet, and Pontecorvo Studios. Scholarship and Craft of Choreography classes to be scheduled. Performances: All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., and will be held at the Victoria Theater. Tickets for non-participants (tickets are included in the kit) may be bought by calling the Victoria Theater Box Office Center Stage at (937) 228-7591. Dancer's Party: The Dancer's parties will be each evening after the performance at the hotel. The themes are Ruby Red and a Luau. Name Badges: Every participant will be given a name-badge that will be their entrance into observing all classes, lectures, Dancer's Parties and Gala Banquet. |
